
MY STORY
My name is Eric Ligeikis and I am the founder/owner of Heirloom, I have been cooking in some aspect since I was 14 years old. I started out making salads in a little Italian restaurant and moved on to learning how to make pastas and pizza. I enjoyed cooking so much that I continued my learning in high school. After high school I took a non conventional route as I decided to skip college and learn hands on from the experts. I worked in several restaurants around Chicago and in the suburbs. I was fortunate enough to work as a line cook all the way to an executive chef. I have always enjoyed food and it has always been a passion of mine.
Tired of working for others and losing that connection with food through high volume kitchens, I decided to start this project and pass on my passion for food to the home cooks. My goal is to teach you the things that I have learned from my experience and give you the tools to create your own creations for friends and family.
